Father’s Day Ideas
June 10, 2008 by Megan
I love celebrating Father’s Day. Not just because I think I have the greatest dad in the world, but also because my husband is fabulous in every way too. Especially in the daddy category. So, of course I’ve gathered my craftiness about me and went hunting for some fun and wonderful ideas for Father’s Day.
Now you knew I was going to throw out some handmade cards, right? Well, here’s a couple to get you inspired to bust out your paper trimmer and glue stick. This first one was created by me, but inspired by a design I saw on the blog of my local scrap book store. I thought it was adorable and had to create my own.
This second card, I found on the Hero Arts blog. Hero Arts is a rubber stamp company and their blog is full of fabulous inspiration from terrific designers. I love the masculinity of the wrapping and of course, the handmade card.
This next idea is not a card (gasp!) but a mini scrap album perfect for every daddy. I found this project at www.scrapbook.com.
This project was created by Jill, the founder of Scrapbook.com. She created it using this tin album kit by Die Cuts With A View. Each little page of the accordion album contains little messages about her husband’s wonderful qualities as a father regarding each of their children. Such a beautiful and heartfelt project!
And here’s some scrapbook pages inspired by dads and perfect for Father’s Day photos.

I hope you all have a fabulous Father’s Day and as always, happy crafting!

I LOVE that “Surprise’ tin album kit! So fun…
