Make Beautiful Scrapbooks with Making Memories
February 5, 2008 by Megan
I am a scrapbooking fanatic. I have a problem, I admit it. I want the latest and greatest tools, papers, embellishments and what-have-you and if I didn’t have three small kids holding me back (because it’s hard to take three of them anywhere) I would be at my local scrapbook supply store every day. Sadly, I don’t get there very often at all. So you can imagine my joy/glee/euphoria when I opened a lovely package full of fabulous products available online from one of my all time favorite scrapbook companies, Making Memories.
I am super stoked about their new tool kit, the Making Memories Tool Kit II. It has absolutely everything in it that a scrapper needs to build a layout, start to finish. It may also include everything one needs to build a back porch. I was so excited to take this kit for a spin. I’ve been using my husband’s tools for things like setting eyelets and I think he’s getting sick of his stuff being taken! The whole kit comes packaged in a cute silver tin and includes the following:
Paper piercer / Stylus · Hammer · Craft knife · Setting base with 3 hole punch tips · 3 eyelet setting tips · Scissors · Tweezers · Universal glue · Emery board · 4" x 4" Setting mat · 6" Metal ruler · Storage tin
I also received two of their fabulous new lines of papers and embellishments. Each line is completely coordinated and takes the guesswork out of matching the elements on your pages.
The first line is called 5th Avenue. It just became available this month. It is a funky, modern line filled with blacks, reds and yellows. Perfect for scrapping hot dates with your honey, fun girl’s nights, or hip teen pages. With everything from coordinating papers to matching ribbons and alphabet stickers, this line has everything you need to complete a sassy layout.
I was also super excited to receive their girly line of products they call Note Worthy. Full of fun ledger style papers, ultra-feminine floral designs, glittery alphabets and sweet embellishments. I finally had everything I needed to scrap my daughter’s first birthday. (She’s almost three!)
You can find all these products and much, much more at www.makingmemories.com. You can also find their fabulous products at most any local craft store.
Making Memories is a leader in the scrapbook supply industry. You can trust that all their products are of the highest quality and are completely safe to use with your precious photos.
