Armed and Ready for Baby

January 10th, 2008 · No Comments add to kirtsy

pinknoise I got pretty lucky with my first baby, he was a sleeper from the start.  By 3 months he was sleeping through the night and he has almost every night since (he’s now 16 months).  I’m placing my bets I won’t be so lucky with the next one.  So just to be on the safe side, I’m gearing up now with an arsenal of tools in the hopes that baby (and me) will be able to find a few zzz’s.

I was lucky enough to receive a copy of the Pink Noise CD (my friend Mindy Wilson did the cover design).  Though I obviously haven’t had a chance to give it a test ride yet (still 2 months to go!) I’m anticipating it to be a lifesaver.

Pink Noise is a full-length CD of noise meant to recreate the sounds of the womb.  So when the little one starts wailing at 3 am, the plan is to rundown the basics (feeding, diaper change, swaddle) then simply press play.  Let’s hope it helps!  I think the concept of the CD is fantastic, and I’m thrilled to have a copy.  I’ll be sure to post results once my little gal arrives and I can put it to the test.
